Fresh donuts from the bakery! I never really liked donuts that much until I had these. Now I know why we haven’t seen any Tim Horton’s around! The one at the back is not really a donut, but something called apfelkuechle — a type of apple cake/pastry thing. What I really liked about it is that it doesn’t taste too apple-y. I also had a really good apple cake at another bakery that had the perfect amount of apple and sweetness. These Germans know how to do their pastries!
Yum - are those cream-filled?
